  • Kyiv-Mohyla Law and Politics Journal extends its call for submissions to 7th issue

    Kyiv-Mohyla Law & Politics Journal (KMLPJ) is a peer-reviewed, international, and interdisciplinary journal governed by the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. The journal is published online annually and promotes high academic and research standards and scholarly ethics. KMLPJ answers current challenges facing Ukrainian studies in law and politics and meets an immediate need for their further integration into the international academic community. KMLPJ covers the broad areas of Law and Politics, with a particular focus on Jurisprudence, Constitutional and International Law Issues, Political Theory and Methodology, European and Post-Soviet Studies.

    Currently KMLPJ invites submissions to its seventh issue (7/2021).

    Submissions (articles and reflections) related to the journal’s scope are invited. KMLPJ covers the areas of: Law: Rule of Law, Theory of Argumentation, Legal Interpretation, Comparative Constitutional Law, International Human Rights, International Environmental Law, International Business Law; Politics: Post-Soviet Politics, Transitional Studies, EU Politics and Policies, International Relations and Comparative Politics in Central and East Europe, Political Theory and Methodology. The journal will also include book reviews of critical works in these fields.

    Only articles, reflections and book reviews prepared in accordance with KMLPJ guidelines will be accepted for consideration. Publications are in English. Guidelines for authors can be found at: http://kmlpj.ukma.edu.ua/about/submissions#authorGuidelines.

    Submit your manuscript by September 30, 2021 to Ievgen Zvieriev (zvieriev_ievgen@ukma.edu.ua). Please direct all questions to this contact. If this deadline cannot be met, please provide an expected submission date and we will try to accommodate you.

  • Editor-in-Chief Prof. Andriy Meleshevych passed away.

    It is with strong regret that we have to inform that our Editor-in-Chief, former President of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Andriy Meleshevych has passed away on April 23, 2021.  The editorial team of Kyiv-Mohyla Law and Politics Journal expresses our deepest condolences to the family, relatives,  friends, and colleagues of Andriy Meleshevych.  He has been the founder and true inspirer of this journal.  We will indeed miss him...

    The upcoming 5th issue is dedicated to the theme of

    Legal and Political Challenges of Anticorruption Activities

    Journal welcomes but does not limit submissions in English to the following topics: Law: Rule of Law, Theory of Argumentation, Legal Interpretation, Comparative Constitutional Law, International Human Rights, International Environmental Law, International Business Law; Politics: Post-Soviet Politics, Transitional Studies, EU Politics and Policies, International Relations and Comparative Politics in Central and East Europe, Political Theory and Methodology. The journal will also include book reviews of critical works in these fields.

    The decision on publication will be made subsequent to two blind peer reviews of the manuscript. All authors who have submitted their articles will be notified on Editorial Board’s decision.
